Правило и Упражнения на предлоги TO, FROM (beginner)
Сначала рассмотрим основные предлоги направления TO и FROM.
ПРАВИЛО. Запомните и используйте
предлог TO с глаголами движения go, get, come
при движении
В направлении объекта:
go to, get to, come to, travel to, move to. ИСКЛ. to visit (без предлога), to arrive (уровень 2)
Используйте предлог FROM с глаголами движения go, get, come при движении ОТобъекта: go from, get from, come from. Искл. to leave (уровень 2)
Упражнение 1. Переведите словосочетания с предлогами to, from, in, at.

Обратите внимание, что предлог TO переводится «на», «в», «к», а FROM — «с», «из», и это еще не все варианты их перевода!

Заключительные упражнения на предлоги направления
Упражнение 1.Вставьте предлог in, to, at, from, где нужно.
При выполнении упражнения обращайте внимание на глагол. Глаголы движения требуют предлога направления, а глаголы местонахождения – предлога места.
Глаголы местонахождения: be – быть, live – жить, stay — останавливаться
Запомните: visit the city — посетить этот город (без предлога), come home — приходить домой (без предлога)
