“Cowboy Tears Drown the World in a Swimming Pool of Sorrow (Deluxe)” is the deluxe version of Oliver’s album “Cowboy Tears” which released in February of 2022.
The deluxe released on December 23, 2022 and featured 11 new songs on top of the previous 13 from the original album.
On May 18th, 2022 the first somewhat official announcement was made for the deluxe due to the lnk.to for the track I Hate You being discovered by fans. Oliver would later that day post to his social medias teasing the track.
On May 20th, 2022 Oliver would release the first single “I Hate You” from the deluxe but with no official announcement of a deluxe coming anytime soon.
On June 17th, 2022 Oliver would do an interview with Ethan Klein and announced the deluxe’s official name as “Cowboy Tears: Drown The World in a Swimming Pool of Sorrow” and would feature 12 new songs five of which produced by Travis Barker.
Later that day fans would find on BMI Repertoire four songs (Place Holder, Crash Test Dummy, Exploding Man, and Mind Control) all written and produced by Oliver and Travis Barker.
On December 9, 2022 Fans discovered the albums Pre-Save link ahead of the albums released leaving it’s release date up in the air at the time.
The announcement also contained a snippet for the track “Mind Control” and Oliver stated he would be posting a snippet a day on his story until the albums release on December 23, 2022.
On December 16, 2022 Oliver posted his second snippet for the track Battleship.
On December 17, 2022 Oliver posted his third snippet for the track Wasteland..
On December 19, 2022 Oliver posted his fourth snippet for the track Oxymoron.
On December 20, 2022 Oliver posted the fifth snippet for the track Replacement.
Later on December 20, 2022 Oliver posted the sixth snippet for the track Crash Test Dummy.
On December 21, 2022 Oliver posted the seventh snippet for the track
The Exploding Man.
On December 22, 2022 Oliver posted the eighth and final snippet for the track Sunshine
